I'm an author-turned-publisher out of sheer frustration. Good books are harder to come by than ever. Anyone and everyone can 'publish' books on Amazon or Smashwords. Worse, editors are thin on the ground, even at the bigger publishing houses. Not to mention the graft and corruption that goes on...
In any case, I started Lark-Elders Publishing House to serve several of my own authors and promote new authors who can't get an edge with the larger firms.
